This bag is super cute! I love the design, it is designed by artist Klari Reis and I like how the card gives you a description of the bag and says you could be next on the opposite side! I will be using the bag to carry my makeup in my handbag! I love the Ipsy bags…

First look inside the bag

all my beautiful monthly products

This is what the inside looks like

The theme for this month's  bag was Destination beauty and I love it!!!

So the first product in my bag was The Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer: This product is about $4 and is a very decent size. I thought it would be tiny. While I wasn't too excited about this product but I did apply this on the back of my palm and I think I like it better than my current primer so I am a fan! I am actually glad I got this.

Next was the bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready: The retail for this product is about $9. It is a nice size sample and the color is beautiful (not as dark as I thought it was). I am definitely using this one.

Also the lipstick came with a coupon code for free shipping and a mascara with a bareMinerals purchase.

The product  I was most excited about in this month;s bag was the Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow Quad in Bora Bora. Love the orange, gold and sand (for the lack of a better way to describe the color) colors, the blue will be used only minimally since I don’t care for very bright colors. The retail of this item is $16 and this too is a full size product.

Lastly I got the  Nicole by OPI Roughles in On What Grounds?: These are limited edition and full sized. I love love love this product! They cost $7.99

Yea or Nay: Yea Yea Yea!!! I got $37 worth of products which is a lot less than the value of my last bag but I personally like the products in this bag better and I love Klari’s design on the actual bag!!!

So this was a great bag for me.

My Ipsy March 2014 Preview (Glam Room)

So this is what I am getting in my March bag!!! I love how pretty the bag is in the picture and I got everything I wanted except the body lotion but I guess that is fine since I got the body lotion the last time. So here is a breakdown of what the value of my bag is, enjoy! (I have links for the products at the end of this page as well as my Ipsy link if anyone is interested in joining Ipsy)

  • .       The bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Get Ready: The full size of this is $18 and this is probably half of that so $9. The swatch of the color seems a little dark on their website but I think I will like it and the lipstick has great reviews.

  • .       Nicole by OPI Roughles in On What Grounds?: These are limited edition and full sized I think. They cost $7.99 and I love the turquoise blue. It will go well with all my blue handbags and jewelries!
  • .       The Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer: The original mini (30ml) is $9 and this is about 12 ml so I would go with $4. I am not too excited about this since I already have my primer that I like. I will try to trade this or give it to someone.

  • .       The last item and the one I am most excited about is the Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow Quad in Bora Bora. I was using a bunch of neutrals over winter so this will be a great palette for Spring/Summer and I love the colors. The retail of this item is $16 and I think it is a full sized product.

So I am getting products worth $37 for the $10 I paid, which almost 4 times what I paid for the bag and I don’t like one item in the bag but I will probably still be using the primer (since you can’t ever have enough primer!) or if it is a decent size give it away as a present. I love the little bag that the products are coming in (love the design) and I can always use it for something! I love Ipsy!!! Can’t wait for it to get here!!!

February Ipsy Bag Review!

So this was my first IPSY bag and I was super impatient and excited to get this bag!!!
I jumped with joy when I saw this pink little package in my mailbox!  for those of you who don't know what IPSY is, it is a $10 monthly makeup subscription and they usually send out 4-5 deluxe size samples (usually one or two of the products are full size)... It is a great subscription bag for $10 and the value of the bag is usually a lot higher than the $10 you pay for it. So I have my link posted at the end of this post, please use my link if you plan to join Ipsy!

I am usually not a fan of pink but I thought this bag was super cute because of how simple it is - like love!

The inside is pretty but like I said I love the simple outside and I am currently using the bag for all my eyeliner pencils!

So these are all the products I received in the February Bag - Zoya Nail Paint in Odette, Pop Beauty Lip Gloss in Fushia Freesia, Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava Body Butter, Tini Beauty Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow in Spiced Rum and J. Cat Beauty Eyelashes!
z

I love the body butter, it smells delicious and I have used half of it already and carry it with me everywhere! I love it more than anything else in my bag, I wouldn't mind the coconut one in my March bag!!! The retail value of this is - $7 (25 oz)

I love nail paints and this is a beautiful color. I love the purple, I do need to apply a few coats of the color but I love it nonetheless. Retail Value of this is - $9

This is a full size cream eye-shadow (Tini Beauty Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow in Spiced Rum) in a beautiful copper color. It looks beautiful on my tan complexion and I love the feel of it. The retail value of this is - $18

I love the texture and feel of this lip gloss but I don't like the color they sent me (Fushia Freesia). I think it is too pink . I wish I had gotten the other color since it was darker and would have suited my skin tone better. If I hadn't opened it already I would probably just give it away. I guess I could try applying it really lightly and see how that turns out. Retail value for the full size is $16, so this should be about $8.

The last item in my bag was the Eyelashes and I don't care much for them but I don't know who could I give these to, so I might try it on for a night out or a party or something! I wish I had gotten something else though. This is the only thing in my bag I don't really like. Retail value of this - $3 (if I remember correctly)

Yea or Nay - For $10 I got products worth $45, granted I don't care for the eyelashes and the color of the gloss, I will still be using the gloss a little and I love everything else so definitely a YEA!!! So for me it is a good bag, hopefully March is better!!!

Elizabeth Arden Haul - Part II

I decided to do this haul in two parts because it was a lot of product to go over...So here is Part II of the Elizabeth Arden Haul.....(this post is a month late and I have been using all the products for about a month now).

This part of the haul consists of the free gift I got by using the code LOVE (I think it was a Valentine's day thing)...I love the products and everything is of great quality. I did spend more than I wanted to for this haul but I had been a little down after my ankle surgery and this sure helped me a lot! Hope you guys enjoy this and the previous post.

So this is the sample size of the eye cream I am currently using and this will be great for me to carry for my two day Chicago trip and continue my skin-care regime!!!

This is probably great like the other two lip glosses in the red bag but I am not feeling the color. I am definitely giving this away as a gift .

Really excited to try the lotion because I am planning to try the visible difference line next. I don't use soap on my face so I will probably gift the cleanser to someone.

This a great creamy lipstick. The color is a lot lighter than in the picture and suits my tan skin-tone really well!

I think the picture of the bag on the website showed a different lotion and eye cream but I am glad I got this and the ceramide eye-cream instead. because I am planning a short trip to Chicago next week and I can continue using my regular skin care products without having to carry the full sized ones. I love how cute the travel sizes are.

I haven't tried the fragrance yet but another cute little thing to carry on my trip. (I hate carrying fullsized products on short trips but I hate going without all the essentials lol)

So this is the bag in which the free gift arrived. I love how cute this bag is! I have my lipsticks and nail-paints in this bag currently. The bag is great quality and is a dark pink on the opposite side. It is a great bag to take on travels (love the color and quality)

This is what the bag looks like. Like I said when I took these pictures I had been using the products for over a month (the mascara was with the red bag in the previous post and not with the free gift).

So all in all I loved my free gift! I think it was about a $80 value and was available with any purchase over $49 of $50. In any case I love it and it is one of the better free gifts I have received in a while!!!!\

Yea or Nay- Yea. So I spent about $130 with shipping and tax and received products worth $560...I love most of it and what I can't use I can give it people as presents because everything is great quality!

I hope you guys enjoyed the reviews please subscribe. Stay tuned for more and don't forget to check out my other blogs!!!
