America the Beautiful - Boxycharm July 2014

My favorite box arrived in the mail today making my day off just perfect! Hope you enjoy the review because I love this box!!!!

As you can tell from my title, the theme for this month's box was America the Beautiful! 

Here is the first look:

The first product was pur~lisse pur~protect SPF 30 moisturizer. I just ran out of my daily moisturizer two days ago so this full sized product is greatly appreciated. The retail value of this product is $55 (I got the value for my box just with this one product). 

The second product was bellapierre Natural Lip Liner in Cinnamon, another full sized product that retails at $18. I am creating 8 boxes for my family and this will be added to one of those boxes because I don't use lip-liner but the color is beautiful!

I was so excited about a full sized luxurious lipstick by Appeal Cosmetics in Baby my Doll. I have been meaning to buy this color for a long time and I am really excited to get this in my box this month! The retail for this is $22 (and yes this is full size as well)

The fourth item in this month's bag was the bellapierre full sized shimmer powder and retails $14.99. While I don't use shimmer powder myself, this will go into my gift boxes and I know of the person that will appreciate it so

The last product was a Lauren B. nail paint is Rodeo Drive, the retail is $18 and who doesn't love red nail paint? 

So I love this box and Boxycharm has to be my favorite subscription box so far! I paid $21 for this box with shipping and the value of this box was $127.99...yes $127.99!!!! Sensationally Sunkissed - Ipsy July 2014 Review

It has been a while since I have written a review on here. Needless to say, it has been a crazy month. Anyway I am back with my Ipsy review for this month. So here goes!

The theme for this month- Sensationally Sunkissed! 

The first product in this month's bag was Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 08, 1 fl oz which was about $1.50 given the full size is 8 fl oz and about $11.99 (on the official website). I am too dark to use this but I may give it to a friend or my boyfriend! Love the brand though and how it uses natural sources. 

The next product was the Lavilin Jojoba Gel Cream 15 ml, the value for this is about $ 3.15, the full size is 100 ml and retails at $21 (official website). I was excited to try this but unfortunately more that half the gel leaked in the bag and that makes me a little sad. 

The third product in my this month's Ipsy was the Benefit they’re real! beyond mascara, this is a good deluxe sample size and the value is around $8. I love mascara and this one seems to lengthen, thicken, lift and is longwearing!

The fourth product in this month's bag was Elizabeth Mott Tints & Sass and is a full size product. Retail Value (from official website) - $22.99. I love lip and cheek tints and this is a great red and little will go a long way! This has to be the superstar for me in this bag. 

The last product in this month's bag was the 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum SPF 15, this thing is tiny and the value is close to $ 5.40. The full size cost $18. I do like the color and excited to try this as well.

Ipsy June 2014 Review

This is what I got in my June Ipsy bag..The cost for Ipsy is $10/month and it contains great samples in delux sizes and more often than not, the bag also includes a few full sized items. 

This month's theme was Pretty in Paradise

The first product in my bag was the NYX Butter Gloss in Eclair and from the looks of it, it is a full sized product and retails at $5, while I love lip products, I have too many pink lip glosses right now, so this will be given away as a gift! I wish Ipsy would send out lip glosses and lipsticks in more browns, reds and corals. 

The next product was the Carols Daughter, Sacred Tiare styling cream, the full size is 3 oz (90 ml) and retails at $12, this sample is .5 oz (15 ml) so the value is $2. I have tried this brand before and am excited to try this product! 

The next two items are ones that I sadly cannot use as well. The first is a shimmer eyeliner in blue, this is a full sized product and retails at $4.99, I will probably gift this one to my sister who loves colored eyeliners. 

The next item is another full sized product, the universal eyebrow pencil by OFRA, I don't use eyebrow pencils and will have to unfortunately gift this one as well. The retail of this is $13. 

The last item in my bag was a perfume sample, Realtree for her, the full size retails at $24.99 and the sample is worth around $2. I love fragrances and love carrying one in my purse all the time. So I excited about this sample. 

This was my first Ipsy bag since I re-subscribed. While the total value of my bag was $26.99 and well worth the $10 subscription cost, I am disappointed given the only two products I will really use are worth $4. I hope next month is better.

Tarina Tarantino Eye Dream HyperLiner in Cute Robot - $15 (full size)... I love eyeliner, I wear one every day and this dark blue would be a great addition to my collection. I cannot wait to try it! Also this will be my first time trying out Tarina Tarantino, I always saw her products in Sephora but this is my first time trying her product!!!  

New Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara - $7.99 (full size), I love Mascara and will get great use of this!!!

Tarina Tarantino Eye Bream HyperLight - $22 (full size), this is great to brighten and luminize your under-eye area and cheekbones, I saw it in this month's sneak peek and was dying to try it and given my Benefits Benetint is almost out, I am so glad to get this!  

The nail paint duo by STRANGEBEAUTIFUL in blue and gold, perfect wedding colors and perfect to wear for your own wedding or to one :) - $18 (full size)

May 2014 Boxycharm Review

I love the color and how bright it is! Perfect for summer with a lighter eye makeup!

Petit Vour May 2014 review

I am all about trying out cruelty free organic products these days. So I signed up for two organic beauty boxes - Saffron Rouge Inner Circle Beauty Box (see May 2014 review below) and Petit Vour Beauty box. Today I will review my Petit Vour Beauty Box (http://www.petitvour.com/) for May 2014. Hope you enjoy it! 

The cost of Petit Vour is $15/month and this month's theme was Spring. (click on images for larger pictures)

This subscription has one of the cutest packages ever! I love the little pink box.

Life indeed is beautiful!

The first item in this month's box was a lipgloss by Aromi in Rouge! This was a full size product (.14 oz or 4 g) and retails at about $15-$17. I really love lip glosses and lipsticks, so I was really happy to get this in my box. I really like the color. I think it is great for Spring. 

The next product was Deep Steep Hand Cream in Brown Sugar and Vanilla. This was also a full size product (2 fl oz or 59 ml) and retails for $10.  I always carry a hand cream in my purse and my current one is about to run out, so the timing of this could not be better. Also I love love love the fragrance!!!!

The next product is a sample of the Harvey Prince Hello Fragrance. The full size retails for $55 (1.7 fl oz or 50 ml), the sample in the box is about $1 (1ml or 1/32 fl oz). While I don't care for perfume samples, I really like the fragrance of this perfume and may end up buying a full size bottle in the future. It has a very fresh floral scent without being very overpowering. 

The last item in this month's box was Paula's Choice Resist C15 Super Booster, the full sizes product (20 ml or .67 fl oz) is $45. The sample (3.5 ml or .12 fl oz) value is around $7.5. The trial size is pretty decent. I use a serum every night and I have been wanting to try a vitamin C serum for my sun spots, so this is another great product for me. 

The total value of my Petit Vour box for this month is $33.5-$35.5 and is almost twice what I paid for my subscription. I usually don't care about high value as long as I love everything in my box and this is perhaps one of those rare times that I like everything in my box and will be using everything! Saffron Rouge Inner Circle May 2014

So I received my box today and was super excited to try it out.

It includes a brochure detailing the products 

First Product in this box was the Lily Lolo Lip Gloss in Scandalips which is described as a Bold Pink with a hint of shimmer on their website - http://www.lilylolo.co.uk/sp+natural-lip-gloss+009

The color is not very bold but I love it and it is from the UK. It retails for about $13.44 and is 6ml which seems like a full size. The color is nice and can be worn everyday

The next product was the red flower Orange Quince Steam Room Mist. The mist is supposed to boost the senses and relieve anxiety and restlessness. This is perfect for me and I love the fragrance. The sample was 8.9 ml or about .30 oz so the value of it around $3.50. 

I will use this in my closet after laundry to make my clothes smell fresh also for insides of my handbags

The next product was my favorite in this box. The W3LL People: Mai Couture Hedonist Bronzer#52. I love the color and use a bronzer every day. So I was really excited to get this. The full size product is 6g and costs $23. http://www.saffronrouge.com/w3ll-people/hedonist-mineral-bronzer

The sample does not indicate a size looks like it is about a gram so I am guessing the sample value is around $4

The next product is an eyeshadow - Alima Pure Luminous Shimmer Eye Shadow in Hellebore. The eye shadow is nice and very very shimmery but I have too many eye shadows. I will use it but I can do without it. http://www.saffronrouge.com/alima-pure/luminous-shimmer-eyeshadow

The full size product is $12.50 (2.5oz). This deluxe sample is 2g so the value is about $10. I wish the bronzer was this big and the eye shadow smaller. 

The box also includes a Primavera Calming Moisture Cream. I love face creams and am excited to try my first organic face cream! The face cream helps calm redness and irritation so it is perfect for the summer, also it is from Germany and I love trying products from around the world.  http://www.saffronrouge.com/primavera/calming-moisture-cream

The full size is 30 ml (1 fl oz) and costs $44. The sample is about 8ml(.27 fl oz) so the value is around $12. 

It does smell a little medicinal to me! 

The last product in this month's box is the Dr. Alkaitis Soothing Gel which can be used for insect bites, sunburn, as an after shave and seems like a multi-purpose soothing gel just in time for summer. The full size product is 120ml(4 fl oz) and costs $64.95. The sample is around 10 ml(the bottle doesn't indicate the size) so maybe the value is around $5.50. 

I liked most everything in my box for this month. The total value of my box was $48.44. While the value of the box is great for the $24.99 I paid for the month, I would have liked it if my box included a larger bronzer instead of the eye-shadow.
